Experienced Manufacturing EngineerCompany:The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Production Engineering team is hiring a Senior Electrical Manufacturing Engineer (level 3) to support the technical statement of work in San Antonio, TX.Position Responsibilities:Understands and implements production and tooling methodologies.Participates on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines.Reviews, identifies, and implements conceptual designs and maintains the program architecture for build.Builds and implements manufacturing plans.Conducts producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirements.Assists in providing producibility information for inclusion in project plans and helps document producibility best practices.Analyzes design/build concepts to evaluate producible design/build definitions.Reviews and assists with technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost or schedule.Validates and ensures production readiness of solutions to difficult problems.Implements lean principles and technologies.Reviews electrical design requirements and approves new releases and revisions to existing designs.Reviews and implements non-conformance requirements into shop floor work orders and supplier specifications.Validates Electronic Bill of Materials (EBOM) and Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM) to create and maintain part demand within the program production system.This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in San Antonio, TX.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
