Position:

We are seeking a Field Service Software Applications Engineer to support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automation systems and Inpeco products across North America. This role involves software, firmware, and IT support and requires frequent travel to customer sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite support and lead the installation, configuration, testing, validation, and golive of the new system.
  • Provide training for internal teams, customers, and partners.
  • Provide remote and onsite support , including software upgrades, configuration, hotline assistance, issue escalation
  • Customer-facing support: Professionally assist laboratory personnel at customer sites, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations while effectively communicating service timelines.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and maintain daily/weekly service reports.
  • Meet performance objectives set by the Team Leader and management, contributing to annual MBO targets and incentive programs .
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures set by Inpeco and customers.
  • Plan and organize travel independently based on the service schedule , adhering to Inpeco’s travel policy.

Requirements:

We are looking for candidates with the following skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Availability to travel up to 75% of the time in North America and occasionally to other regions.
  • Experience with software applications, automation systems, or medical devices is preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in software, firmware, and IT environments .
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
