REGISTERED NURSE (RN) | CONTRACT ASSIGNMENT JOB OVERVIEW

Seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract opportunity in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care, perform patient assessments, administer medications and treatments, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure exceptional resident outcomes.

• Shift Time: 6:45 AM 3:15 PM
• Meal Break: 30 Minutes
• Day Shift

GUARANTEED HOURS & PAY

• Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours Per Week
• Pay Rate: 41.46-48.37 per hour

REQUIREMENTS

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in good standing
• Current BLS Certification required
• ACLS Certification preferred
• Previous skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, or acute care experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Proficiency in medication administration and clinical documentation
• Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient-centered care

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient conditions and promptly communicate significant changes to physicians and healthcare team members
• Coordinate and oversee resident care activities
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with nursing staff, therapists, physicians, and support personnel
• Educate residents and families regarding treatment plans and healthcare needs
• Ensure compliance with infection-control policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
• Respond effectively to emergencies and provide appropriate nursing interventions
• Promote resident safety, comfort, dignity, and quality of life
