Tool Room Attendant

Pay: $24-$28/hour (depending on experience)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a Tooling Technician to maintain, track, calibrate, and repair tools and equipment used in aircraft maintenance and manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for ensuring tooling remains serviceable, properly documented, and compliant with company and FAA standards while supporting safe and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage tool inventory and tool control processes.
• Inspect, maintain, repair, and calibrate hand tools, power tools, and specialized aviation tooling.
• Issue and receive tools, ensuring proper tracking and documentation.
• Perform inventory audits, cycle counts, and record reconciliation.
• Utilize SAP, ERP systems, and tool tracking software to maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate shipping and receiving of tooling and calibration items.
• Identify and remove damaged or unserviceable tools from circulation.
• Support 5S and continuous improvement initiatives within the tool room.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and FAA requirements.
• Lift and handle materials and tooling up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Experience with tool inventory, tool control, or inventory management in a maintenance, manufacturing, or aviation environment.
• Experience inspecting, repairing, and calibrating tools and equipment.
• Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Knowledge of inventory control, cycle counting, and recordkeeping.
• Basic computer skills and experience with electronic tracking systems.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to safety.
• Aviation maintenance or aircraft manufacturing experience is preferred.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milton, FL.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Milton,FL.
